KUTA: The US government has withdrawn equipment that had arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport to support the planned visit of President Barack Obama to Bali.

Lt. Col Aldrin Petrus Mongan, Air Force commander of Ngurah Rai airport, confirmed all equipment and personnel would be flown back to their original air base.

"We do not know the precise time, but this is the common international military standard of procedures," Mongan said.
