As of 2012, all state-owned companies and governmental institutions have been urged to use online procurement (e-procurement) processes, an officer says.
Therefore, the Institution for the Procurement of Government Goods and Services [LKPP] is working hard to build an online portal and promote it publicly in 2010, acting head Agus Rahardjo said Sunday.
“The government must also make the e-procurement mechanism sustainable, as stipulated in a 2008 presidential decree on economic programs for 2008-2009,” Agus said as quoted by kompas.com.
The e-procurement system has been listed in the Midterm National Development Plan [RPJM] for 2010-2014.
