The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) caught a judge and a lawyer red-handed and arrested them on alleged bribery Tuesday.
KPK spokesman Johan Budi confirmed that one of the men was a State Administrative High Court judge, who allegedly accepted the bribe, news portal tempointeraktif.com reported and the other one a lawyer.
Both were arrested in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, during the alleged money transaction. KPK confiscated Rp 300 million (US$33,000) in the arrest.
At the time of writing, both men were being questioned at the KPK headquarters in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
There no further details on the arrests, but Johan promised to hold press conference later.
