Megawati and her assistant, Yudhoyono

On the sidelines of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) congress in Sanur, Bali, a photo exhibition on the party's history is taking place.
One of the photos, which was taken by photographer Joko Sugianto, depicts a rare public picture of PDI-P chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri and her nemesis, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
The photo is provocatively titled “Megawati dan Pembantunya” (Megawati and Her Assistant).
The photo was taken when Megawati and Yudhoyono visited the Bali bomb site in Kuta, Bali, in 2002.
That year, Yudhoyono was indeed one of Megawati's assistants, as he was one of her ministers during her presidential term.
The relationship between Yudhoyono and Megawati turned sour when the former decided to run for the presidency in 2004.
Yudhoyono won the election and, ever since, both he and Megawati have rarely been seen in public together.
Yudhoyono defeated Megawati once again in 2009 and, until now, the latter has neither officially congratulated Yudhoyono nor admitted defeat.
