JAKARTA: The Anti-Corruption Education Coalition will report on Tuesday allegations of fund misappropriation at a junior high school to Jakarta to Regional Representative Council.
The plan to file the report comes after the administration's decision to drop the case.
"For us, this is weird," council representative Febri Hendi said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com on Sunday.
The council and Indonesia Corruption Watch have reported Central Jakarta Junior High School No. 28 to the city's inspectorate for allegedly misusing its school funds - with potential losses of up to Rp 390 million (US$43,290).
However, Governor Fauzi Bowo last week said the inspectorate had concluded there were no indications of corruption in the case. - JP
