The National Police counterterrorism squad stormed into a house allegedly sheltering suspected terrorists in Cot Iri residential area in Aceh Besar regency on Monday, killing one of the suspects and arresting another.

Antara reported an ambulance took a body to Zainoel Abidin Hospital for an autopsy following the raid, which occurred at about 1 p.m. local time.

The squad conducted another raid on a shop-house in Beurawe subdistrict in the provincial capital of Banda Aceh, arresting three terror suspects. The police also seized a computer, documents and a Nissan car bearing registration number BK 9000.

No official statement has been available regarding the latest crackdown on terror network in Aceh, which comes less than one month after an operation to quell a terror network that was linked to number one fugitive Dulmatin.
