Jakarta Governor's father passes away

The father of Governor Fauzi Bowo, Djohari Bowo, died of asthma at 1.45 p.m. on Wednesday at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. He was 87.
City spokesman Cucu Ahmad Kurnia said the body of Djohari was brought to his home at Jl. Surabaya No. 66, Central Jakarta.
“He was scheduled to be buried at Karet Bivak Cemetery [in South Jakarta] at 4 p.m. today,” he said on Wednesday.
Cucu said Djohari had been treated at the hospital for two weeks.
Djohari, who hailed from Malang, East Java, is survived by four children, including his first son, Fauzi Bowo.
