President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono expects the Jakarta Declaration, to be concluded in a conference, will help boost infrastructure development in the Asia-Pacific region.
"The Jakarta Declaration, which is a development of the Seoul Declaration, is a scheme or cooperation between governments and private institutions in Asia-Pacific countries.
"This declaration is expected to help speed up development and provide benefits for nations in the Asia-Pacific region," he said Thursday when opening the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Public-Private Partnership for Infrastructure Development 2010.
The declaration is set to be signed at the end of conference, which runs from April 14 to April 17.
