Babies suffer malnutrition in E. Nusa Tenggara

KUPANG: As much as 541 babies have suffered malnutrition following to
drought and a failed harvest in South Central Timor regency of East
Nusa Tenggara, says health agency head.
Yuli Butu said that the agency would give the ailing babies with a
30-day program of additional nutritious foods should it had sufficient
budget. However, should no budget available, the agency would give
health counseling to parents, she added.
“We really depend on the available budget to treat the babies with
additional nutritious foods,” Yuli said Sunday in Kupang as quoted by
tempointeraktif.com.
