Your comments on the court’s verdict retracting the dropping of the prosecution against two deputy chairmen of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) — Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra M. Hamzah, who were accused of receiving bribes.
Recharged: Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputy chairman Bibit Samad Rianto (left), accompanied by KPK spokesman Johan Budi, briefs journalists following a court verdict that retracted the dropping of a prosecution against Bibit and KPK deputy Chandra M. Hamzah, who are accused of receiving bribes. JP/Nurhayati
The Attorney General’s decision to drop the prosecution against KPK leaders Bibit and Chandra was taken against his conscience because the case was ready to go to trial.
The decision was forced due to non-judicial public pressure. That is why he left it to the subordinate prosecutors to pronounce the decision to stop the prosecution.
The court ruling by judge Nugroho Setiaji is just to rectify the “due process of the law”.
No need to try to incriminate this judge.

In Indonesia there’s nothing impossible except someone who eats themself and a man who gives birth.
So reliving the Bibit-Chandra case is not impossible.

I think we can see it positively. If the case of Bibit and Chandra are brought to the court, they will have the opportunity to defend themselves legally.
And I hope that they can be truly free of all charges based on “legal” and not only “presidential”
decision.

Once when I was taking an elevator I overhead one man standing beside me talking to another and he said that our nation had been fooled for generations.
Bibit and Chandra as he mentioned were examples of alleged corrupt officials who never truly were caught because they were able to create a “clean” scenario to prevent trails of evidence leading to their arrest.
I personally feel that Anggodo is not the main culprit, because he was in a narrow position to succumb to these KPK people and that is why Anggodo bribed.
