House names Century recommendations monitoring team

The House of Representatives announced Tuesday 30 members of a a new team to monitor the implementation of the legislative body’s recommendations on the Bank Century bailout.
The monitoring team member are as follows:
- The Democratic Party's – Moh. Djafar Hafsah, Achsanul Qosasi, Ignatius Mulyono, Soetan Bathoegana, Vera Febrianti, Soetjipto, Didi Irawadi and I Gede Pasek Suardika
- The Golkar Party's – Ade Komaruddin, Agun Gunanjar, Bambang Soesatyo, Melchias Marcus Mekeng, Idrus Marham and Azis Syamsuddin
- The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle's – Gayus Lumbuun, Sidharta Danusubrata, Ganjar Pranowo, Trimedya Panjaitan and Hendrawan Supratikno
- The Prosperous Justice Party's – Mahfud Siddiq, Andi Rahmat and Fahri Hamzah
- The National Mandate Party's – Asman Abnur and Tjatur Sapto Edi
- The United Development Party's – Epyardi Asda and Aditya Mufti Arifin
- The National Awakening Party's – Nur Yasin and Imam Nahrowi
- The Greater Indonesian Movement Party's – Soepriyatno
- The National Conscience Party's – Akbar Faisal
The team will be chaired in turn by House Speakers Priyo Budi Santoso, Pramono Anung, Marzuki Alie, Anis Matta and Taufik Kurniawan once a month.
Irregularities were found in the disbursement of the bailout, which increased ten fold to Rp 6.76 trillion (US$716 million) from its original estimate.
The House had voted earlier this year on final recommendations that concluded the bailout, which was authorized in November 2008 by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and then Bank Indonesia governor Boediono, now Vice President, was flawed and plagued by corruption.
The House recommended legal measures be taken against all individuals responsible for the bailout policy.
