5,000 workers to stage rally on May Day

Some 5,000 workers plan to stage a rally on May 1 to celebrate International Labor Day.
"Workers from nine elements have registered to hold the rally," City Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli said as quoted by kompas.com.
Boy said demonstrators must obey traffic regulations during their rally such as wearing proper helmets.
The rally will be held at the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle, the State Palace, the Vice President's office, the House of Representatives compound, the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry, and the State worker insurance company PT Jamsostek.
Police will reroute traffic around the planned rally.
