KPK to question Boediono at VP palace

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that it would hold the planned questioning of Vice President Boediono over the controversial Bank Century bailout at the Merdeka Selatan Palace later in the day.
KPK spokesman Johan Budi confirmed the plan, after tight-lipped vice presidential office staff had left journalists in the dark about the questioning.
“Pak Boediono will be questioned today at 2 p.m. at the [Vice Presidential] Palace,” Johan said in a text message to journalists.
Johan said there would be no KPK commissioners attending the questioning.
The House of Representatives holds Boediono and Mulyani responsible for the Bank Century bailout in November 2008, which increased tenfold to Rp 6.76 trillion from its original estimate, and which it says was flawed.
