Elementary school students sit national exams

DENPASAR: The national exams for 6th-grade students will kick off from May 4-6 across Bali, with 64,470 students expected to take the test.

"This figure includes 46 special needs students," Bali Education Agency head I Wayan Suasta said Friday.

Students who fail the national exams will be given a chance to take a retake it from May 10-12.

"Unlike the exams for junior- and senior-high students, the questions were drafted and composed locally," Suasta added. - JP
