Elementary school national exams running well so far

DENPASAR: The national examinations for elementary school students ran smoothly across Bali, an official reports.

There are 64,470 students taking part in the three-day exams, which will end Thursday.

"So far, we have not received any reports or complaints from schools," Bali Education Agency head I Wayan Suasta said.

Unlike the junior high and high school national exams, which were marred by a lack of preparation and other problems, Suasta said his office and the schools were better prepared to conduct exams this time around. - JP
