As many as 54,407 junior high school students or around 98 percent from 55,181 students in Bali have passed the national examinations, an official says.
Provincial education agency head I Wayan Suasta said Thursday that this year’s graduation rate had decreased 0.41 percent from last year’s.
However, Suasta was confident that despite the drop, Bali would retain the top spot in the junior high school’s graduation rate nationwide.
Suasta said that most of the 774 students who failed struggled most with the Indonesian language and English test subjects.
