Jakarta Police raided a rented house on Jl. Warga in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Thursday evening over alleged terrorism activities.
“The people who live in the raided house are believed to be terrorists,” a local resident named Wahyu, told tempointeraktif.com.
Neighborhood unit Muchtar Saleh confirmed the raid, saying that the rented house was owned by one of local residents.
“However, the house’s dwellers were often changing. Several of them came from Bogor, several others from Bekasi, West Java,” said Muchtar.
An unidentified Pasar Minggu Police officer also confirmed the raid, but refused to give further comment.
