The National Anti-Narcotics Body (BNN) has urged the administrator of Achmad Yani Airport of Semarang to remain alert of possible attempts to smuggle drugs via the Central Java capital.

BNN Semarang head Isdiyanto said Tuesday that his suspicion was based on several drugs smuggling attempts through other airports, such as Adi Soemarmo Airport in Surakartao and Adi Sutjipto in Yogyakarta, recently.

“We have to create an unfriendly atmosphere in Achmad Yani Airport for drug smugglers,” Isdiyanto said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
