The House of Representatives Commission III on Law and Human Rights is preparing ten legislators to become members of the so-called law enforcement working committee.

"However, we cannot reveal their names now," one of the commission deputy chairmen, Fahri Hamzah from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), told reporters at the House in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Fahri added that the committee's first priority was to summon National Police Chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri to talk about the recent arrest of former National Police detective chief Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji.

Susno was arrested for an alleged fraud, which was ironically revealed by him when he had a hearing with the House law commission.

A commission member from the Golkar Party, Dewi Asmara, said that the committee would not solely focus on the Susno issue.

"The committee will also work on other law enforcement issues, such as the lack of legal advocacy for the poor," she said.
