Selection process of new Finance Minister similar to previous

Presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha said the selection process of replacement of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati might be similar to that conducted to select the cabinet ministers in October last year.

"It may be similar like the previous selection process. There's a signing of performance contract and integrity pact," he said at the State Palace Wednesday.

But Julian said no names yet mentioned by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as a suitable replacement of Mulyani.

Mulyani will serve the World Bank as a managing director, the second highest position, just under President Robert Zoellick, starting June 1.
