Corruption suspect dies of heart attack

JAKARTA: Businessman Iken Nasution, a suspect in the alleged misappropriation of 2,500 cows at the Social Affairs Ministry in 2004, died of a heart attack at Pondok Indah Hospital, Jakarta, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. He was 54.
His sister, Pia, said that Iken was admitted to the hospital Thursday night. She said it was his third heart attack since 2001. The first happened in 2001 and the second in January this year.
The Corruption Eradication Commission has named Iken a suspect along with former social affairs minister Bachtiar Chamsyah. - JP
