Police to continue hunting terror suspects

Police will continue hunting three alleged terrorists who are still at large, National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri said in Sukabumi, West Java, on Monday.

"We are at present hunting the remaining terror suspects," Bambang told  journalists after giving directives to students of the Police Academy.

Bambang said a series of antiterror operations had been conducted in a number of areas, but refused to mention the areas targeted in the operations.

"I would like to ask people from all walks of life to remain alert against the presence of terror suspects in their respective neighborhoods," he said as quoted by the Antara news agency.

Bambang also expressed hope that the people would report to the police or the military if they found something suspicious to assist security personnel track down the remaining terror suspects.
