JAKARTA: The city police's violent crimes unit announced Friday they had arrested a suspect for allegedly drugging and then robbing travelers at the Kalideres bus terminal in West Jakarta.
The suspect, Muhamad Jupri, 42, was arrested earlier this week while preparing to drug a would-be victim.
"I have committed this action five times," Jupri said Friday as quoted by detik.com.
According to Jupri, he would drug his victims by putting sleeping pills into a canned coffee drink. When the victim then fell unconscious, he would rob them. - JP
