Gianyar’s hand painted wood fan nominated in UNESCO Award

A hand painted wood fan, which was created by an artist
in Payangan, Gianyar, Bali, is nominated in the United Nations Educational,
Scientific and Cultural Organization Award 2010.
Gianyar’s industry and trade agency head Wayan Suamba
said Sunday that the fan won the Best Product nomination in the Inacraft international
handicraft trade fair in Jakarta, in April.
“The painted fan’s nomination in the UNESCO Award is a
follow-up to its achievement in the previous Inacraft event,” said Suamba.
