President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will lead Tuesday the funeral ceremony of Hasri Ainun Habibie, the wife of Indonesia's third president BJ Habibie, at Kalibata Heroes' Cemetery in South Jakarta.
The President is scheduled to lead the ceremony before his departure to Oslo later in the day, presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal said here Monday.
Ainun died at 72 in a hospital in Munich, Germany, after undergoing a number of surgeries due to several complications from her illness.
Yudhoyono had ordered that a plane be sent to bring back Ainun's remains to Jakarta.
The plane left for Germany very early on Monday. It is expected to return with Ainun's remains on Tuesday morning. The body will be laid in state in Habibie's private residence in South Jakarta at 9 a.m. before being brought to her final resting place in Kalibata at 11 a.m.
