Former National Police chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji revealed on Wednesday the embezzlement of the state budget, grant, and export credit at the National Police headquarters and regional police offices.
Susno's lawyer Ari Yusuf Amir said his client told the Witnesses and Victims Protection Institute (LPSK) about the cases.
Ari said that Susno reported the security fund for regional elections was misused blatantly by regional police offices.
"The losses reached trillions of rupiah," he said as quoted by kompas.com, adding that Susno had evidences to support his statement.
Ari said the cases occurred last year when Susno was still a chief detective at the National Police.
