Injured Indonesian discharged from Israeli hospital

An Indonesian volunteer who suffered gunshot wounds during a raid by Israeli marines aboard a Turkish vessel Mavi Marmara on Monday has been discharged from an Israeli hospital.
Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa said on Thursday that Octiavianto E. Baharuddin of the Indonesian Committee for Palestine Solidarity had been and evacuated to Istanbul, Turkey.
The other wounded Indonesian national, Surya Fahrizal, remains at the Ramban Hospital in Haifa, Israel.
“He [Surya] has communicated with the International Committee for the Red Cross,” Marty said prior to a Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta.
Israel deported on Wednesday 10 Indonesian nationals who were detained following the raid which reportedly killed 12 volunteers and injured 30 others. The world community condemned the attack. The Indonesians reached Amman safely.
