Gayus case prosecutors face more questioning

Three prosecutors of the Gayus Tambunan corruption case, Fadil Regan, Eka Kurnia and Ika Safitri, will face more questioning ar the National Police headquarter on Friday.
National Police deputy spokesman Brig. Gen. Zainuri Lubis told kompas.com that the prosecutors' questioning session were scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday.
The police have named prosecutors Cirus Sinaga and Poltak Manullang as suspects over their involvement in the case brokerage in the graft case involving tax official Gayus Tambunan.
The prosecutors were members of the Gayus Tambunan prosecution team. They charged Gayus under the Money Laundering Law which carries a maximum sentence of five years in jail, instead of the Corruption Law which carries heavier punishment. The Tangerang District Court then acquitted Gayus earlier this year.
