Banks in Bali collects Rp 33t from third parties in Q1

Banks in Bali have collected Rp 33.6 trillion (US$3.6 billion) from third parties in the first quarter of this year.
Head of the Denpasar office of Bank Indonesia Jeffrey Kairupan said Bali's image as international tourism spot had helped banks collect funds from third parties.
However, Jeffrey said the banking fund usage in Bali remained low.
There are 43 public banks and 138 rural (or private) banks in Bali.
