The Bandung organizing committee for the university entrance test has tightened its supervision to prevent high school graduates from cheating during the test.
"Before the test began, each student identity will be verified and their belongings will be checked," the committee team secretary, Asep Gana, said as quoted by Antara news agency on Wednesday.
"We did not want last year incident to recur."
Two female students were caught bringing mobile phones to the venue of the test last year, he added.
Asep said some 2,800 supervisors were deployed to monitor the test in 1,400 rooms.
