Sanur Village Festival to be held in August

DENPASAR: The annual Sanur Village Festival, which promotes the area as a cultural and tourist
destination, is scheduled to take start in early August, says a
representative.
The event’s fifth iteration will feature the creative work of artists
and residents of Sanur, festival
committee head I Bagus Sidharta Putra said.
The theme in 2010 is Saha Nuhur, which means a place for finding holy
rays and blessings.
The Denpasar mayor’s office has pledged to give Rp 500 million to the
festival to ensure it is a successful cultural event, he said. — JP
