Anang’s duet partner stars in his new screenplay

Jakarta: Singer and songwriter Anang Hermansyah is currently writing a screenplay and will give the lead female role to his duet partner, Syahrini.

The single father is still keeping the detail of the project secret from the media. “Just wait and see,” Anang said as quoted by Tempointeraktif.com.

Anang has enjoyed a newfound fame after his divorce with local pop star Krisdayanti. Not only has he become a sought-after advertising pitchman, but his album Separuh Jiwaku Pergi (Half My Soul Is Gone) detailing how his marriage fell apart has also hit the charts.

Syahrini is Anang’s duet partner in Jangan Memilih (Don’t Choose) and Cinta Terakhir (Last Love).
In 2007, Anang turned to the silver screen, producing the film Susahnya Jadi Perawan (How Hard it is to be a Virgin), starring Restu Sinaga, Nova Eliza, Tio Pakusadewo and Julia Perez.
