Banyumas police nab marijuana dealers

Banyumas Police in Central Java have arrested four drug dealing suspects and confiscated 11.9 kilograms of marijuana from them, kompas.com reported.

Adj. Comr. Robert Sihombing, chief of Banyumas Police narcotics unit, said Saturday that the case was started with an arrest of marijuana user.

Robert said that the police first arrested Nur Hidayat aka Timbul (31) in possession of 125 grams of marijuana. The police later arrest Surno aka Wane (34) who sold the drugs to Hidayat and confiscated 25 grams of the drugs from Surno.

The police later found out that Surno purchased the illegal drugs from Purwanto aka Ipung (26) who later confessed that he and a friend of him Katimin (29) stored a total of 11.7 kilograms of marijuana in Sidareja, Cilacap.

Ipung said he purchased the marijuana from a man in Bogor, West Java.
