Perhaps if the police monitored all those ambulances driving through Jakarta with flashing lights and sirens, which are simply being used to transport school children or non-emergency cases, the other drivers would have more respect for emergency vehicles. It is interesting as well the number of ambulances in “emergency mode” during rush hour. Emergency vehicles have to earn respect.
