Australian arrested for possession of cocaine

Bali police have arrested an Australian national for illegal possession of cocaine, following a few days of surveillance.
Chief of Kuta police station Adj. Comr. Wimboko confirmed on Saturday the foreigner, identified as Angus McCaskill, 57, was nabbed on Jl. Kediri in the island’s prominent tourist resort on Wednesday.
After a search, the police discovered five packages of cocaine inside the suspect’s wallet, Wimboko said.
He added that the police had conducted surveillance on a villa in Kuta, where the suspect lived, following a report from local residents.
The Australian is being detained at the Kuta police station.
