After suffering two embarrassing incidences in which its circus tent collapsed during performances, injuring two, the organizer of the Indonesia International Circus Festival has planned to relocate the event from Senayan in Central Jakarta to Balai Kartini in South Jakarta.
"We don't know yet when we will move there," President director of Nant Adi Pariwara Budi Antoro, the organizer of the circus, said.
"But it's impossible to continue the show in Senayan."
Nant Adi Pariwara legal officer Syamsul Bahri said errors during the tent's construction had caused the circus tent to collapse twice during heavy rain and strong wind.
