Aviastar opens new routes from Bandung

BANDUNG: Aviastar has opened new routes connecting Bandung with Palembang in South Sumatra and Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung.

The new routes became available on Saturday.

"We have seen good prospects in travel between Bandung and these two cities. All three are popular tourism destinations among travelers," Edwin Widjaja, the director of flight operator PT Komala Tri Varia, said.

The flights operates once a week. "But we are expecting to fly up to three times a week in future," Edwin said.

The routes use by BAE 146-200 aircraft, with 146 seats. - JP
