Police identify attackers of anti-graft activist

Tama S. Langkun: (JP)The National Police have said they had identified the identity of
anti-graft activist attackers and they are still collecting evidences
to arrest those criminals.
Usman Hamid of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of
Violence (Kontras) said National Police Chief Bambang Hendarso Danuri
had updated the police investigation into the assault on Indonesian
Corruption Watch (ICW) researcher Tama Satya Lankun to a group of
activists who met him on Monday.
"Police know the identity of the attackers, but they could not publish
the names yet," he said as quoted by kompas.com after the meeting.
ICW coordinator Danang Widoyoko, Hendardi, Bambang Widodo Umar, Asmara Nababan were also present in the meeting.
Bambang told the activists that the attack on Tama was not an ordinary crime, Usman added.
