The former minister of justice and human rights Yusril
Ihza Mahendra, a suspect in the alleged corruption involving a government
website, complied with the summons of Attorney General's Office for questioning
Monday, but refused to make any statements.
"I respect the AGO as an institution, although I question the legality of
Hendarman Supandji’s posting, and his policies," Yusril told reporters
after the session.
He added that he was not willing to answer the AGO's questions because he was
waiting for a decision from the Constitutional Court due on the review of Law No. 11 of 2004 on the AGO.
Yusril said that he would come for the next questioning session scheduled for
July 15. (lnd)
