Famous for its factory outlets, Bandung is set to host KickFest 2010 local clothing and distribution exhibition, at Siliwangi Stadium this weekend.
“We anticipate 170 stands displaying prominent domestic clothing lines and distribution outlets, including Ouval, Arena, NLS, D’Loops and Barbel,” Kreative Independent Clothing Kommunity (KICK) chief Ade Andriansyah said on Tuesday.
Manufacturers from Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Lampung, Surabaya, and Malang, as well as the host city, will participate in the annual festival, Ade said.
The 3rd KickFest would attest to the firm stance taken by local creative industries against cheap imports.
