Golkar has no right to propose reshuffle: PPP

A- A A+

The United Development Party (PPP) says that the Golkar Party has no right to propose a cabinet reshuffle following a recent evaluation saying that some ministers have been under-performing.

“The only one who has the right to reshuffle the cabinet is the President,” PPP deputy secretary general Muhammad “Romi” Romahurmuziy told reporters at the House of Representatives in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Previously, chief of the Presidential Work Unit for Development Monitoring and Control (UKP4R), Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, recently reported that several ministries had been given red marks for their poor performance.

Among those ministries are the Communication and Information Ministry under Tifatul Sembiring, and the Law and Human Rights Ministry under Patrialis Akbar.

Golkar then proposed a reshuffle for the ministers who had been considered a failure in leading their respective ministries.
