Priyo wants to be a minister: Golkar politician

Senior Golkar Party politician Agun Gunanjar Sudarsa regretted the statements made by his party colleague, Priyo Budi Santoso, who recently proposed a cabinet reshuffle.

“Priyo may just want to be a minister himself,” Agun commented at the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

Agun stressed that Priyo should have paid further consideration to the larger interests of the party, rather than issuing reckless statements with the potential to provoke unease within the government’s coalition bloc.

Previously, Presidential Work Unit for Development Monitoring and Control (UKP4R), chief Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, reported that several ministries had been given poor marks for their performances.

Priyo then proposed a reshuffle of certain ministers he deemed unworthy of leading their respective ministries.
