Boys bodies found in East Java river, investigation underway

Local police in Nganjuk, East Java, are investigating the cause of death of two boys, whose bodies were found in a rive in Rejoso district.

“We are looking whether there was foul play,” Rejoso Police chief Adj. Comr. Hari Santoso told Antara news agency on Thursday.

The bodies of M Rehan Daffa (8) and Moreno Wisnu Saputra (9) were found in the river by a local resident Jiman, who immediately called other residents and the police, on Wednesday.

There was no obvious wound found on their bodies. The bodies have been taken for autopsy at the local hospital.
