Officers of the National Police’s counterterrorism unit, Detachment 88, arrested a terrorist suspect in a raid in Sragen, Central Java, on Sunday night, a witness said Monday.
“Dozens of officers arrested the alleged terrorist. The squad members drove in with three motorcycles and four cars,” said witness Sutanto, 31, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
The raid occurred at a musholla (prayer room) in Ngledok village, Sambirejo subdistrict, Sragen.
Police have not commented on the incident.
