Chances of showers in Jakarta on Friday

The weather in Greater Jakarta and surrounding areas is expected to be mostly cloudy throughout Friday, with a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening in a number of areas, the national weather agency forecasts.

Cloudy weather will start the day in the city, except for rain in the Thousand Islands regency.

In the afternoon, rain may hit South Jakarta, Bogor and Depok, with the rest of Greater Jakarta left cloudy.

Cloudy weather will continue through the evening in most areas, except for showers in South and West Jakarta, Thousand Islands, Bogor and Tangerang.
