The House of Representatives is scheduled to have a joint meeting later today with several ministers and officers from the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the National Police.

One of the House deputy speakers, Golkar Party's Priyo Budi Santoso, told reporters that the meeting would include coordinating ministers for politics and security affairs, home affairs minister, law and human rights minister, the TNI chief and the National Police chief.

"We are going to discuss the issues taking place in the Aceh and Papua regions," Priyo said.

"There are still a lot of unsolved problems regarding regulations in those regions," he added.
