Gas canister explosion hurts 10 in West Jakarta

JAKARTA: Another LPG cylinder exploded in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, early Sunday morning, injuring 10 people.
The police said the incident took place at around 3:40 a.m. and all victims were rushed to Sumber Waras hospital.
"The victims suffered severe burns. Three of them are women, while the other are men," Tanjung Duren detective unit chief First Insp. Johari Bule told detik.com.
The incident is the latest series of cylinder explosions across the city, killing and injuring dozens of people. - JP
