JAKARTA: Toll-operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) on Monday announced positive first half earnings, with a significant jump in net profit and revenues compared to the same period last year.
Jasa Marga recorded Rp 647.6 billion (US$71.88 million) in net profits, up 63 percent from last year at Rp 395.7 billion, said president director Frans S. Sunito in a press release.
Jasa Marga also booked Rp 2.1 trillion in revenue, a 24 percent increase from last year's Rp 1.7 trillion.
"The increase was driven by a 2.6 percent increase in toll traffic," Frans said. - JP
