Gossip show presenter and model Cut Tari has requested the investigation into the sex tapes involving her and pop star Nazriel “Ariel” Ilham be terminated.
Cut Tari, her husband, Yusuf Soebrata, and her lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea, filed the request to the National Police Detective Agency in Jakarta on Wednesday.
“We met the investigators, asking for legal certainty and the development of the case now that those who uploaded the videos have been arrested,” Hotman said as quoted by Antara news agency.
The police arrested three people for allegedly uploading three pornographic videos of Ariel, Cut Tari and model Luna Maya that were widely circulated over the Internet. A total of 13 people had been named suspects in the case. Cut Tari has admitted to being in one of the videos.
“Cut Tari is the victim in this case,” Hotman said.
