MAKASSAR: Makassar Police reportedly seized Rp 10 million worth of marijuana on Monday.
Two people identified as Dendy Randy and Satriadi were arrested as suspects and are being held for questioning.
Makassar Police antinarcotics chief Hasbi Hassan said Tuesday that former convict Dendy had been on a police wanted list in the last week following information that he was again involved with narcotics.
"Last year we arrested him in similar circumstances. He was sentenced to six months in prison and was released early this year, which was why we were monitoring his whereabouts. We intensified our observations in the past week," he said. - JP
